Now that the controversial marathon Caprivi High Treason Trial is almost entirely over and the verdict delivered, NamRights has decided to publish and widely circulate worldwide via the Internet the attached documents on the Status of Caprivi Strip and on Evidence of Complicity in Torture of the both the accused and State witnesses by Prosecution Team.

On the Status of Caprivi Strip human rights practitioner Phil ya Nangoloh explains why Caprivi Strip it has never been part of the German colony of South West Africa (GSWA) and consequently that the disputed territory is not now part of Namibia as well as his view about why and how the secessionist attack on August 2 1999 took place in Caprivi Strip (now Zambezi Region).
