 THE UNITED DEMOCRATIC PARTY (UDP) MOURNS THE DEATH OF MR. COOKS MUYOBA’S WIFE.
Let us say that it is better to be late than never. While Caprivians are fighting to liberate themselves from the York of colonialism, we are deeply shocked to learn of the untimely and sudden death of Mr. Muyoba’s wife. Mr. Muyoba’s wife had been a staunch supporter of the United Democratic Party (UDP) for many years past. While death is indiscriminate, sometimes as humans we feel and believe that it is unfair. However, it is in God’s plans for each and every one of us to go through it.
To his survived family members, it is a known fact that there are no words we can offer that will make this any easier, but hopefully just knowing that we care will allow you to lay some of the burdens on us. It is during this dark hour that we want you to know we are and will be with you in your sorrow and prayers always.
To all the sympathizers and fellow countrymen, Mrs. Muyoba was snatched away from us when we needed her most. So, while we honor her memories, we hope each of you will take comfort in knowing that her commitment to her country and to the Caprivian politics will never be forgotten. We will always carry them in our hearts as we work together toward a free Caprivi Strip.
May her soul rest in peace.
